SeekOut review

Verdict. SeekOut is the most powerful people-search engine for hard technical and under-represented talent, with filters (patents, publications, GitHub, security clearance) that LinkedIn simply does not offer.

Best for: technical and diversity sourcing at scale.

SeekOut aggregates hundreds of millions of profiles with data LinkedIn lacks: code repositories, academic papers, patents and clearance status. Diversity filters let teams build balanced pipelines on the basis of inferred demographic data, with the compliance caveats that implies.

It is a power user's tool. Enterprise talent-acquisition teams get enormous value; a founder hiring three engineers will find it slow and costly.

Pros and cons

Unmatched filters for technical and specialised talent
Diversity sourcing with pipeline analytics
Contact data and outreach built in
Enterprise price point
Steep learning curve
Data accuracy varies outside tech roles

Where SeekOut ranks
